We had no plans on Eating Out on Christmas. But due to our ceiling falling in, in the kitchen the day before a home made dinner was not going to happen unfortunately. I give my 3 stars not because I don’t understand that Christmas is hell for retail and restaurants a like. Truthfully I give it because I understand that fact all to well. If it wasn’t the holidays and someone at my table didn’t get their food, on top of the food given being cold and one person gets over cooked food, on top of how long it took to get said food…you would be get 2 stars just for the fact that the waitress was trying so hard and It was nice to sit in a warm environment. I also am taking into account that many people had busted pipes and have had this Christmas turn upside down. While I was happy for a warm place to sit. I think someone should have made the decision to close the restaurant portion and just do takeout. It may have helped your cook not panic and getting home and having food that needs to be reheated is more understandable. Praise your waitress during the lunch hour because even though they were running around doing their best, it was obvious they were equally flustered and felt helpless in the situation caused by the back up due to all pick up orders. They did a fantastic job of not losing their ever loving minds and snapping. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays And Have Happy New Years.
The food was really good the waitress was fine. Ordered appetizers that are advertised half price but little writing even with my bifocals I couldn't read if I wanted to does not include all the appetizers. I would have ordered a meal that would have been a dollar more and had a wonderful meal instead of a few appetizers. Wish the commercial would say only the ones that are on the special
I was placed in a booth with the menu. No one came to table for 20 minutes. I finally called my order to go from the booth. Food soon came to table with no ticket. After sitting the another 15 minutes thinking about the ticket to pay my way out. Finally got up and asked for ticket to pay out. Came home and ate. VERY POOR SERVICE. NO NAPKINS, OR COMMODITIES FOR BURGER. BAD NIGHT TURNED FINE WHEN GETTING HOME AND GOT MY MUSTARD FOR BURGER AND NAPKINS. NOT THE NIGHT TO EXPERIENCE DAY BEFORE VALENTINES DAY!
The food is good just wished they would clean the carpets. The 2 for 30 is worth it we always get the spinach cheese with our meal ...and make sure you tell them you are doing the 2 for 30 or you'll end up paying 15.99 a plate which seems to be the same portion As the 2 for 30 And the drinks and specials they have on drinks make the night!
This was our first time at this Applebee's. We usually got to the Ada restaurant. Service was excellent. The gentleman was new first day and he did a great job making sure we was taken care of. Husband ordered Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp like always and he loved it. I on the other hand tried something new. I ordered the fish and chips. I was disappointed. The fish was luke warm and some spots just cold. Wish I would have payed more attention to the word fish and that Cat wasn't in front of it. Not a fan at all. Just seemed like some frozen fish fillets from Walmart. Anyhow other than that we had a good experience. We will be back if we are down there. I just won't get the fish lol
