Lindsay at the bar was absolutely fantastic!!!! I came in for lunch and took a seat at the bar. She promptly greeted me and got my drinks. I am excited to finally get Yiengling on draft here in Oklahoma. I ordered the 8 Oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli and added the fried shrimp for $1 more. The steak was perfectly cook medium rare and the broccoli was seasoned very well. The mashed were kind of bland, but some pepper picked them up. The fried shrimp was delicious and not over cooked, well done!!!! Be seeing you again here in Durant!!!
Food was good but the current waitress was a some what bad waitress she just seemed to do the bare minimal for our table and we were celebrating our 20th anniversary. So the whole experience from start to finish was just a complete bummer. I understand they might be busy but she seemed to think she was doing an excellent job!! NOT!! I felt like I was at a fast-food restaurant and needed to get up and serve myself. I won't be going back.
The food was good, but the waitress was dismissive. We had to get straws as we had a young child with us. Our drinks and appetizers were delivered with no straws, no plates, no napkins, or utensils. The child's cup had a lid and we were right next to the stand, so my husband grabbed a straw for her cup. The waitress got annoyed and was curt most of the time afterward. It would have been different if the restaurant was busy. She wasn't exactly rude, just not friendly.
Wasn't busy and took someone 10 minutes to seat us. It took another 10 minutes to get a waitress to serve us and she never really came back to check on us. I had to get up and find her to get her to take a to go order. Then it took her 20 min to come pay us out.
Always been a fan of Applebee's ! No matter what I'm going to eat I have to have my French onion soup ! The only problem was that the soup was supposed to have a slice of sourdough bread and it didn't. It was a pickup order so it was very neatly separated from the cheese and it was delicious but I sure missed the bread to put on top of the soup before the cheese.
