I’m in town for work and I called to see how late they were open, and they informed me “midnight, but we shut the grill down at 11:30”. My coworker and I showed up a few minutes after 10:00pm and there were 6 cars in the parking lot. Upon entering there are 4 tables with people seated (two were already finished eating). We get seated and the hostess informed us that the grill was already off and there was VERY LIMITED items we could even order. No grilled food available (steaks, salmon, chicken, etc) no pasta available, you could get a salad, but no grilled chicken, they only had like 4 appetizers they could do because they can’t grill (due to worker shortage 🤔). We settled on spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, my coworker ordered a burger and I ended up ordering an oriental salad with fried chicken (minus the almonds). FORTY-FIVE minutes after ordering our appetizer finally showed up and then another 25 minutes went by before our entrees arrived. My coworker asked for mayo at least 3 times and it never arrived. Below is the salad I received after waiting an hour and ten minutes. I understand worker shortage and all, but with the limited number of customers, it should have never taken that long. Plus the attitude of the server and staff wasn’t very good pretty lackadaisical - but adequate I suppose. I don’t write bad reviews as you can tell, but this was a very bad dining experience. Hopefully they can get some more help to improve this situation.
Staying at the hotel next door. Very convenient to walk over about 500 ft to this restaurant. It's what I would call a hybrid Applebee's. It's a very small seating area of about 10 tables. As you walk in the door there's a area to the left to play pool and to the right to play pool inside the bar. Their sectioned off from each other. My waiter told me this was the only one of the country like that. My waiter Kendall was very friendly and attentive throughout my meal. Steak was cooked nicely. Nothing to complain about. Always seem to get good food at Applebee's
Holy smokes, can I do 0 stars? We got our drinks fairly quickly and our first of the two appetizers we ordered within about 5 minutes - these are the only positives. Once the first appetizers was brought to the table we went ahead and ordered our meals. We asked for silverware and napkins, none was brought to us. My wife had to go find napkins. We asked the manager (if you want to call him that) for silverware after the second appetizer came, which was about 20 minutes later. After another 5 minutes he brought some over to the table. After 45 minutes of being there and still no food (or drink refills, very rarely saw our waitress) she came to the table and said our food was almost ready and would be out in a minute. We waited another 10 minutes and still had nothing so we had to go track her down and tell her we would just pay for the appetizers and to cancel the other food. The waitress went to get the "manager" so he could adjust the ticket. Never once looked at us in the eye, never apologized for the wait, still made us pay the $32 for 2 appetizers and 2 sodas and just walked off. Waitress tried giving us the ticket and walking off before we could give her the card and then came back with our card and no receipt to sign because SHE THREW IT AWAY lol, so we had to go get it out of the trash to sign. We were nice and respectful and gave them plenty of time but the place wasn't even busy. Unfortunately this will be our last Applebee's experience.
We had just a couple issues. Steak was not well done as ordered and I ordered side of rice but got broccoli instead. The waitress corrected everything and all was very good after that. Great tasting steak meals and service. Waitress ( I think Jessica was her name) was very apologetic and very nice.
Food was excellent. Had 1/2 rack of Honey/Asian BBQ Ribs and FF. My daughter had Blackened Salmon, Mash Potatoes, Broccoli. It was all good the only complaint was no Blackened Seasoning on the Salmon.
