Swung by for dinner after a day at the lake and Jay fixed us up with some delicious gumbo and hush puppies! Great price for a huge helping and packed with all the good stuff. A must stop if you’re in the area!
Great place, the owners were very friendly and the food was excellent. You get a lot of food for the price. My parents had the rib plate with beans, my husband and I had the shrimp poboy with fries and we also had the gumbo, which came with bread and potato salad.Would highly recommend giving them a try. We will definitely be going back.
Delicious! The sausage, ribs, pulled pork, baked beans and potato salad were phenomenal. Large amount of food for a great price as well. The atmosphere is super welcoming, homey and fun! The owners are so incredibly sweet and personable and their service is just as good. Will definitely be returning, they gained a long time customer today!
Went by and got 2 catfish plates. This was real catfish not some cheap fish being passed off as catfish. The service was great, the conversation was great. Food was great . They make you feel like you stopped by to visit a friend who happens to cook and sell great food. Will definitely be back when they reopen.
The amount of food you get for the price is great. The green beans were some of the best I've ever had. Not sure of the seasoning on the fries but it's was great. The ribs were so tender and literally fellnoff the bone. Only issue (a me issue), there was too much seasoning on the ribs. If they had about 50% rub on them, it would be perfect.
