What an amazing place!! The food was hot and fresh. Service was top notched and perfect. We tried the key lime pie and funnel cake sticks and the cheese cake. All of them were so good. All around this is a great place to bring your family to. We will go back for sure!!
So the food was ok, what you expect from Captain D'S. Battered fish, fries were old but I didn't really want them. However the staff was great. The young girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful, this location is well managed and makes you feel welcomed.
Ugh. My 2 piece was ready in less than 3 minutes. Cold fries, and the fish was mushy and mealy. The hush puppies, and premade cole slaw, was amazing, and the cashier was sweet and kind. I was sure hoping for hot, flaky, tasty, fish though.
Not good compared to how I remember it being in Alabama years ago. I was disappointed with the shrimp size and being overcooked, also disappointed in the taste and batter of the fish and not too fond of the tarter sauce. Also the green bean juice spilled out into my fried food. My tea was soured. Overpriced for quantity and lacking quality. I won't be back unfortunately.
Great place to eat in Bonham. Very good food, portions were plenty, a lot to choose from on the menu. They noticed l walk with a cane and brought our meal out to our table. Friendly servers and counter people. We will be back. Probably 2 or 3 times a month.
