We stopped by on our way out of town. This place was highly recommended but unfortunately did not meet the status quo! The food was semi decent but was way over priced for a family of 5 I paid 100 dollars plus the tip I generously left. The service could have been better they seemed upset to have to wait on such a big table. We all ordered at the same time which was 7 different families and all were speratically served. Some didn't eat until leaving time. We waited 2hrs on our food! Half ways in we questioned paying our drinks and leaving. We had honestly stopped for the chicken but then encountered the fact that they had none but mysteriously other tables were being served the chicken. I will honestly never eat there again. I do not recommend it. We felt like all eyes were on us and not in a nice way. The server and the lady helping her looked like we had ruined their day. One lady even stated she wasn't going to make anything off our table. Disgusted is how we felt leaving there! Never again!
Absolutely old-time diner style restaurant. Food is always great. Large portions and good variety. Wait staff is always friendly. I always have a hard time deciding what to order because it is all good. Home style cooking. We drive from Texas to Madill Oklahoma to go to this place a couple of times a week because we enjoy it so much. It's nothing fancy but we feel right at home here. Be careful about ordering the double meat burger, it was way more than i could eat. Highly recommend it.
Cute place. I ordered grilled chicken, salad and French fries. The fries were good however there was some red stuff on the chicken. The salad was lettuce and tomato. The lettuce was a little wilted. The gravy was good. I would not make a special trip for this The food was only average.
Stopped here with my mother while our dogs were getting groomed. I had the open faced roast beef sandwich. It was absolutely the best I’ve ever,, had my mothers chicken fried steak could be cut with a fork. Excellent!
Love, love, love the breakfast and the morning vibe each Saturday. The waitresses know our drink order and don't even have to ask. They just bring cups of fresh hot coffee and keep the cups full while we enjoy our weekly breakfast date. The food never disappoints.
