We stopped by on our way back home from our road trip wanting some Blizzards. We don’t live in Bonham, it was just a stop. Unfortunately both Blizzards we received were cups of vanilla ice cream with toppings. Now, I don’t know about you but Blizzards from every Dairy Queen I’ve been to outside of Bonham mixes the toppings up. Apparently this place ops not to do it. Not sure if it’s a cost savings tactic or strictly trying to save time. It really doesn’t matter because what you get is subpar and substandard from what Dairy Queen promotes. I did call corporate to let them know about the issue. They took down my info and said they would reach out to the owner. I have yet to receive a call or email. That should say all you need to know right there. If anyone is reading this, don’t bother getting Blizzards from this place. If you do, you will most likely end up disappointed. As for the owner and managers of this facility, instead of leaving some generic comment about how sorry you are, spend the time up training your employees on how to properly make a blizzard so the product you are selling meets the expectations of your customers and ultimately falls in line with what Dairy Queen advertises folks should expect to get when they make a purchase from your location. PS, the pictures clearly show the lack of proper mixing and any kind of topping more than mid way on these Blizzards.
Spent over $30 for two meals. The food was old and cold. The fries were some of the worst I've ever experienced. The toast with my chicken strips was even stale. The drink machine has black gunk all over it. The cups we were given were dirty and damaged. The staff were not friendly and you could watch them wiping their faces and noses with their hands while prepping the food. I would not recommend eating here if you value cleanliness or fresh tasty food.
Very busy on a Saturday mid afternoon. I recommend the chicken and dumplings soup and the banana split.
All the cashiers are too busy talking to each other to give us service. When they called us up to get ours order the cashier kept her back to us, and after several minutes, I said excuse me, but that’s our order. It still took her a minute or two to get it together, and pass it from the window to the counter, once I receive my food, the fries where tepid and hamburger patties were dry thin and tasted like dust. I say save your money go someplace else this place has 3.8 stars, that’s three stars too many
The food is always great, my favorites are the burrito deluxe and taco salad. What's even better than the food is the staff. They are super friendly and helpful.
