The front desk was very polite over the phone and in person. The floor of the whole room was poorly cleaned but everything else was good. The room felt warm in 30 degree weather. I liked the breakfast... Cereal for my boys, waffles and coffee for my husband, and I loved the raisin bread and the biscuit egg and cheese sandwich. The OJ was okay. Customer service is the most important to me and they were great.

Check in after online booking went smoothly. Online reservation request was quickly responded to and accepted, (for ground floor room).
Room was ok. Bedding and towels were clean and fresh. Everything worked. No bugs. Bathroom had a new, oval toilet, but sink desperately needs a new faucet and work on the sink so it doesn't leak forward. Tub could use a re-bath treatment.
Very strong disinfectant odor upon entering the room. We left the door open for a while to air it out.
Overall, room 147 was fine for a night and we slept well.
The room really needs a deep clean with attention to grouting, (mold), corners and baseboards.

This was the first time in my life I have felt harassed and pressured to leave starting at 830am. The cleaning staff continuously knocked on our door asking if we were checking out. Even after I told them nicely we checked in late and would be leaving at checkout. At 1045 am I was asked yet again and I lost my cool. I went to the front desk and demanded to speak with the manager who I was told was not there. When called he claimed he would call me the next day to refund for my stay. That’s now been 4 days. No phone calls. I will be contacting corporate.
I’ve since heard from my travel friend. He called and spoke to Mack “the manager” who refused to refund the stay. He claims he fired his cleaning staff as this was not the first time this has happened. He offered a 25% refund and said “ if that’s not good enough go ahead and call corporate I do not care”
So, now we can add to this review. Mack did finally call me after this review was posted and responded to. He did finally agree to refund our full amount due to the bad reviews. So, I guess he did in fact care about us contacting corporate. I have now changed it to a 2 star as Mack did in fact finally follow through with the refunds. I did not ever receive an apology. But such is life.

The room was clean and acceptable till you get to the bathroom. Very sad shape! To many years of patching. Slept great and wouldn't complain but for the price I think if the bathroom was renovated from top to bottom and the vent wasn't trying to fall out of the ceiling and the 90s shower head and tile wasn't in very good shape.

Bathroom could have been cleaner, the shower curtain had boogers on it and walls and floor need scrubbing. There were a lot of crickets coming in to my room. They won't let you take your breakfast back to the room, so you don't have to eat in front of everybody. The best part of the place is they have smoking rooms.
