I love how the employees (and owner) of this place have time to sit on the bench outside the door and smoke cigarettes, but they don't have time to put paper in the pumps so that those of us who want a receipt can get one. Done with this place. UPDATE: Stopped by again to give our "local business" another chance. Still no receipt paper in the pump - back to Howe and Whitewright for gas.
Quickfood inside such as corn dogs, fish baskets, chicken tenders, and tables to eat your food and convenience store items. Easy to get to and see from the highway and a big enough parking lot to put your car somewhere safe from other vehicles while you are inside. Easy to get out when you're ready to leave.
This was my second visit here, made the stop intentionally, wanting the service from the first time. It was a little after 6 dinner time mind you. And the guy there was, well dumb and it may have been a disability so I don't want to be mean. He would stare at me when I asked him question and the answer. I was looking for a couple of the great burgers I had before. Enough for three of us. But I got , "we're closed" I asked about the folks I met before if they were the owners? Because they acted and cared as if they were. A foreign couple. And this said uuh ya there's a foreign couple, uh they ain't here. Grill is closed. I mentioned that it was late when we came, sun was going down and we got the best burger around. " Uh ya we got burgers" ok time to go. He started cleaning the grill it was 6:42 grill I'm sure still was hot. Since it should be to clean it. We were in there about 15 mins. Long enough to make 3 burgers.
the people who work there are awful. I tried to buy a canned beverage and the lady grabbed it and wiped it with a dirty towel, I told her it looked gross and then she started yelling and that I should go get another one. I just walked out. Don’t go here.
It's just a place in a small town to get gas, a bite to eat, and a drink because there arent many other places. Its OK but dont make a special trip.
