Tried this family-run cafe as it was the only option I had in that whole 10 mile radius. The Mann brothers have been running the place for over a decade. I still can’t believe how good their food was. Tried the bacon cheese burger and it was great. It is pricey but you get what you pay. Their hospitality is something special.
I stop here in the mornings often, the guys are friendly and helpful. They have tables to sit and eat. Gas and diesel out front. Plenty of room for parking.
There propane provider is trash I have gotten 3 different bottles with bad value in the last 2 months stay away if you use propane to keep warm maybe left in the cold
The customer service is always great. One day I ordered a burger from the grill and they got it wrong. I brought it back to be corrected and although hey were very nice about it, it seemed like they just tried to wipe cover up the mistake and gave me back my same food. Honesty and integrity can help a business go a long way.
People say that this place is pricey, but this is a convenience store in the truest sense. It is in the middle of nowhere and provides a much needed service to this VERY rural area. Bill, the owner, is as kind and generous as they come. Very friendly staff and great service. Not to mention, the food is pretty good for it being cooked in a convenience store. Anyone that complains about the price doesn't think about the TOTAL cost involved with driving to town to buy the same thing. 😊
