If I could give this business 10 stars I would!!!! We recently ran into a number of random electrical issues in a home we just purchased. My husband called them and asked if they would be able to come out today, and they were able to accommodate us. The repair tech Carson gave a thorough inspection of the outlets, lights, and helped us label our breaker box—something the previous owner never did all while fixing our issues. All but replacing a light fixture (we need to purchase a new one) the issues we were having were resolved in one day which is amazing as new home owners. This business is top notch.
I can’t say enough about Farris Electric! While at first a miscommunication left me uneasy, the owner of the company Chris Farris personally showed up and set everything straight, while being very kind and courteous and thorough about his job! He truly cares about his customers, and personally makes sure his employees have done an excellent job, a very rare trait in today's world! I will personally use Farris Electric for all of my future electric needs and would 110% recommend them!
Farris Electric came and worked on my grandparent’s old home. (They we’re having some blinking/surging issues.) Carson was SO patient and kind with my 93 year old grandfather (as he followed him around asking questions and holding a light). Carson THOROUGHLY investigated the issue, installed a new fixture, and put both my grandparent’s mind at ease. I would recommend them to ANYONE! Lori, their secretary was so kind and called them ahead of time if something came up. Carson, the tech was patient, professional, and kind. No hidden costs and all around an AMAZING experience. I wish all people could be this professional (especially during times of Covid) and kind. Thank you again!! You are wonderful! 😊
I called over my light switch making a crackling sound and the light fixtures flickering. They came out the same day and fixed it. They where very professional and friendly. Service tech had it fixed within a timely manner and was very polite. I highly recommend them. Great service!
My husband contacted this company last Thursday (4/8/2021) and made an appointment for the next day (Friday) set between the hours of 11 and 12. My husband missed a few hours of work that morning to wait for someone until I could be off to be there. At 1:30, with no technician and still no phone call, my husband called them back and spoke with someone (I was here for the phone call and heard the entire call myself as well) and the man was able to call my husband by his name before my husband could identify himself, as well as he was able to provide us with the correct time we had scheduled. This individual told us that we were the next stop on the list and a technician should be contacting us shortly, and told us it would most likely be between the hours of 2 and 4 now. We understand that jobs take longer than expected and were not upset about this, and asked if the technician would call us when he left the call he is on and started heading this way. The man on the phone said that was no problem and he would relay the message. 6:30 rolls around, and we have STILL yet to receive a phone call from anyone, and no one has made it to our home. At this time, we make several attempts to make contact, however when we call the shop we find out they closed at 4:30. We still continued to wait, hoping maybe a phone call would be placed to offer a new appointment time. BOY WERE WE WRONG. We stayed home all weekend in hopes that someone would either contact us, either by phone or actually show up to our home, but no one ever did. It is now Thursday morning (4/15/2021) AND ABSOLUTELY ZERO CONTACT HAS BEEN MADE BY THE COMPANY. This is ABSOLUTELY unprofessional and we no longer wish to utilize them for their services. Not sure how you can run a business this way, but we will be making contact with someone else. I would not recommend them to anyone, and I wouldn't even give one star if it would let me give a zero star review. This is the very first negative review I have ever left for ANY company. It's a shame. My husband's name is Kyle Kelley, and that's the name the appointment was under. Just to make that clear as well.
