So on the way back into town my cousin and I stopped in and ordered 3 sandwiches. While waiting for the sandwiches to be completed my cousin used the ladies room. Unbeknownst to her at the time she left her phone on the sink. After arriving at home we immediately ate our sandwiches, which were cold, after heating them up. After eating my cousin realized that she didn't have her phone. After searching the house and vehicle it was clear that the phone was not with us. I contacted the store and explained the situation to the employee who answered the phone. I asked the employee to check the ladies room, and she said she would. After a short period she returned and said there was no phone in the ladies room or the store. My cousin and I subsequently returned to the Firehouse store and she found her phone in the ladies room on the sink, in plain sight. Obviously the employee did not check the ladies room. i have to wonder if they were intending on stealing the phone? Or, were they so upset that we didn't leave a tip for them doing their job and providing no other service than producing cold sandwiches that they knew the phone was there and decided to tell us that it was not. Either way, the employees here cannot be trusted to do the right thing. If they cannot be trusted to check a restroom for a lost phone, can they be trusted to provide food that has not been adulterated? With the above in mind, I can no longer bring myself to frequent the Firehouse Subs store in Durant, after having done so at least twice a month for the last 2 years. Goodbye Firehouse and its untrustworthy employees.
As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted. They asked us if this was our first time at Firehouse. Since it was she was very helpful with everything. As for the food... Be careful getting a large unless you have a huge appetite. I ordered a large bacon ranch sandwich, when it came it could have fed my whole family. The establishment was very clean inside.
Gotta give credit where it’s due…. First sandwich from any place that actually looks as advertised! Great service too
We were just passing through when my husband decided he wanted a Firehouse Sub. I didn't expect anything other than having a nice sub. But, the restaurant was emaculate!! The staff was amazing!! Every single employee greeted us and went out of their way to make our complicated order exactly how we wanted it!! And, our sandwiches were loaded with thick layers of meat!! If we ever pass through Durant, Oklahoma again, I know where we're stopping to eat!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food always tastes good when I come here. There was a little bit of a wait for my online order, but I understand it being busy and most of the time it's a teenagers first job. They were very apologetic and very kind.
