Seated immediately and had drinks in hand very fast. Our waitress was very kind and kept the drinks coming as we needed them! Very attentive. Not just our waitress, but all staff there checked in on us to see how we were doing. Definitely felt like a family-run restaurant and everyone was on the same page. It's rare that I go to a restaurant and the experience is flawless from start to finish but that's what we had here. We got the ribs, red beans and rice, hot links, mac n cheese, brisket, and fries. The ribs were HUGE and smoked to perfection. Fall-off-the-bone and so flavorful. The red beans and rice had just the right amount of spice to them. The hot links had some spice and smoked flavor and were delicious! The fries weren't your usual beer-battered kind and I love them cooked how they did them here. Brisket was good as well. Wonderful food, super staff, overall I very much enjoyed my dinner!
Had never been there before, the staff was all very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We had brisket, sweet potato fries, Mac & cheese, chicken tenders, and potato salid.. I have to say I generally do not like restaurant mac & cheese but will definitely be ordering again. I really liked the sweet potato fries overall the food was good. We didn't have any drinks but the sign says they have a happy hour. Their is a cute little bar.
First time here while visiting my hometown. Great find, located in the Tiffany Plaza with plenty of parking even for big trucks. The decor is pretty kewl; old tin roof squares from the old theatre downtown, old wooded wagon hanging with lights and old iron wheels hanging. The staff was super engaging and friendly and helpful on recommendations. My brother had the catfish and shrimp meal with Mac & cheese & rice and beans which he enjoyed. Catfish was really good, breaded and salted well, Mac & cheese was good, rice & beans was flavorful (definitely recommend). Wife and I shared the 3 meat combo meal; sliced brisket (very tender), smoked sausage and ribs (tender and flavorful) with two sides, rice & beans (excellent), homemade potato salad which is mustard based and excellent (could’ve had double of that). Definitely worth trying.
Good place to eat. Wife ordered the 3 meat and 2 side combo. I did the 3 piece fried chicken basket. Her combo was great. Good size portions sausage, brisket, fried swai and her sides were roasted potatoes and green beans. Mine were coleslaw and mac'n'cheese. Great on all of it will be back soon to try more. Update: First time back in over a year and the vibe was MUCH BETTER! Service was fast and they had music and good drinks. We had the chicken ranch fries and wings. Glad we came back to give this place another try!
