    Good for one night stay. Our bed was clean. Room seemed also clean but the carpet was a little nasty but I’m not a carpet fan anyways. Bathroom was clean, shower hot. Breakfast was also warm with eggs and waffles. Mainly blue collar workers stayed here so it was quiet at night but if you have dogs, they might bark at 6am when they all leave. It is what you expect for a LaQuinta on the Texoma border. No complains!

    Although this hotel is moderately priced, you get what you pay for. The cleanliness of the rooms was terrible. We had three people in our room and they could only give us one towel because they did not have any other towels cleaned. The towel that we had had hair on it. They were cigarette ashes in the toilet. From an overall perspective of cleanliness this was not the ideal situation and I’m only glad that we had one night of a stay. Although the Hotel staff is accommodating they’re limited on staff, which is truly affecting the quality in the cleanliness of this hotel

    The service was extraordinary. Everyone we can in contact with went out of their way for us. We stayed there out of necessity, but the people made us we feel at home. Our RV had a flat and we need a place to stay while we made arrangements. Stormy was exceptional! She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! The breakfast was great with the Texas shaped waffles, biscuits and gravy, and the eggs and sausage. My father-in-law never mentions coffee and how good it tastes. It was a first for him and he was bragging to us that he had 7 cups! (WIRED!!!) Later, when we got back from dinner, my in-laws mentioned that they were having difficulty getting the movie they wanted to watch on their TV. Matthew at the front desk offered to help them figure out the remote, and get their program on. I'm truly grateful for the warm and kindness everyone showed us! It eased our difficult situation for sure. Our memories of the stay in Denison has good times at the table looking out over the swimming pool, talking about the progress we were making on getting back on the road again, and Texas waffles and coffee! If you need a place to stay at the Texas/Oklahoma border, I highly recommend staying here!!!

    My friend, her mom, and I booked a room here for our softball tournament and it was awful. The room spelt like dead animals, and we went to get our money back for it and the lady at the desk was so rude about it. I do not recommend it at all they could do so much better.

    I cannot recommend against staying here enough. The property is incredibly unsanitary and it feels more like a dingy motel than a hotel. We were given a pet-friendly king executive room, and it was clear that it was not being maintained properly. There were crickets both inside and outside of the entrance of the room, as well as on the toilet seat. There were crumbs on the fridge, dog hair on the couch, and stains on the bed and cupboards. There were no outlet covers, which seems hazardous for a room that's meant to be pet-friendly. We also could not control the A/C. The elevator was sticky, the hallways were musty, and the lobby also had dead crickets in it. Given these experiences, we decided we would move on to another hotel - we checked in late after a long day on the road, took a lot of time to unpack, only to discover how dirty the hotel is, forcing us to repack our car and drive to a different hotel. Considering these issues and the fact that we left shortly after we checked in, we have tried working with the hotel multiple times to get reimbursement, but the customer service from Stormy is quite lacking. She refuses to help with or escalate the matter, and insists on all sorts of odd lies to refuse a refund (e.g., claiming we checked in at 7 pm when we literally have a reservation email that says otherwise, claiming we used the room when the photos and videos we took show otherwise). Not to mention, they overcharged me by $100 (separate from the room fee and the pet deposit and pet fee) and no one at the hotel can seem to see this charge. I'm still working with corporate and my credit card to figure this situation out. Please, if you value your sanity, find a different hotel.
