Awesome Experience! There was nothing out of the ordinary about this particular check in but when I did make it to my room there was no power to the wall that controlled the TV and what not. So I called down and the nice lady ( i am sorry i cannot remember her name) told me to come down. She stopped her interaction with her current customer to help me out. (which she was super nice about to the other people checking in) She let me keep my old room cards so I could easily move my stuff. the room she put me in was HUGE and awesome. Way more than I needed but it was kind of neat to see what a suite looks like in a LaQuinta. It was super nice with 2 flat screens and 2 rooms. Overall was an awesome experience and will make it back again.
The hotel was nice. I love the pool and hot tub. It is also nice the workout area has more than cardio and has a weight bench and free weights. I was ready to give 5 stars until I experienced the sad pathetic breakfast it offered no fruit, no hard boiled eggs, just yogurt with artificial sweeteners, only over salted instant eggs and breads. In the last 6 weeks on the road this was the worst hotel breakfast we experienced.
Five stars all the way around!!!! Very late when we arrived. The desk clerk at the time was mopping the lobby and when I say mopping she was getting it done!!! She stopped what she was doing to attend to me. The absolute nicest desk clerk I have ever encountered(Mrs. Veronika Kendall) you were amazing!!!. Our room was immaculate. The hot breakfast bar was pretty darn good too. Every employee we encountered was super friendly which is rare these days. Keep up the great work Durant.
Employees very nice and friendly. However, we stayed in a suite. Floors were dirty, the hide a bed couch was not a good one. It was a box spring. No bedding was supplied for hide a bed. The toilet seat was broken. There was not enough lighting in both rooms. 2 small bed side lights and in living room not near enough. The entire suite needs updating.
Series host at front desk was so sweet she was very knowledgeable and kind. Sheree is awesome made us feel welcome, this was our first time visiting durant. We will stay here again. Tina mays
