Stopped in with the family after church based on a friend's recommendation. We had loaded cheesy fries appetizer, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, bacon wrapped pork chop, loaded baked potato and grilled cheese sandwiches plus the banana pudding and triple chocolate cake for dessert. It was all really good. The desserts were spectacular. Prices were quite reasonable. Service was friendly and helpful. We will be going back.
Ordered a grilled sandwich and the meat tasted like fish. Noticed the man at the table next to us eating a grilled fish. The lettuce was gooey and wilted. Fries greasy with lots of bad spots. Atmosphere ok.. until I witnessed cook handling food with ungloved hands. Once he spilled fries on the table and picked them up and threw them back on the plate. See photos... I would not eat here. Its gross. Why are the toilets set up like a bus?
Stopped here on a business trip in between Wichita Falls and Thackerville. It was in the town square and just about the only place open. Most of all the other stores in the square were closed down. It was a sad sight. It’s a quaint restaurant that looks like it’s inside an antique store. No one came to see us for about 10 minutes so I finally went to the bar to grab my own menu. It was only then they noticed we were in the building. She did apologize and I graciously accepted. She was very sweet! We ordered some burgers and fries and they were pretty good. We both wished the buns were warm but it was like they just pulled them from the bag. I really wish I would have tried the pies but maybe next time. I’m sure I’ll stop in again in a few months!
The setting was quaint and beautiful. Local wine was great. Food was as good as it looks. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area.
Always a good place to put on the feed bag. Clean, Friendly service. Good selection of food items. This time I had the turkey BLT. And dessert. I will return.
