I am not a local. We thought this was a Mexican food restaurant,but it is actually TexMex. The chips were half broken, but continued to be filled; Margarita was odd color but of OK quality. Food was good for TexMex. Our waitress/server was McKinzey and she was very attentive and helpful; she made our experience much better!! 3* for food… but 4* for totally experience.
Wow! This place has some awesome bean soup and the old style enchilada dinner that I ordered had a unique flavor that I enjoyed very much. I'm surprised at how good the food actually was. It was a pleasant change from the same old same old at most Mexican restaurants.The first clue that it was probably going to be good was how crazy busy they were on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. We got the next to the last table and people were still coming and going. Highly recommended!
We literally left the restaurant. Chips were great with red salsa. Unfortunately their menu don’t specify much about the meals, Tacos 🌮 are with flour tortillas/ wrong tacos should be with corn tortilla otherwise those call “burritos “., I ordered “ Chile Relleno” it’s a joke. Chile relleno should to be make with CHILE POBLANO. Also it was just a piece of Chile with super refry flour tortilla, I don’t know where come from this recipe but it’s nasty 🤢 They made with CHILE 🌶️ GUERO, which is totally wrong, I paid for dinner no matter I did not ate. I WILL never BACK TO EAT HERE. Btw this place isn’t cheap, prices are high like a small very tiny cup of cheese. Hopefully the owners pay attention to the menu and reconsidered change the name of Chile relleno and say “fry flour tortilla with chile.”
This is what I’m talking about these tacos look amazing!!!!! Thank you for stepping it up and for making it right!! This is my favorite Texmex in Bonham has been since I was kid!!!! We appreciate you guys!!!
Food is always very tasty. Stuffed peppers are filled with a spiced chicken mix then you dip in queso - the best! Home made thin & crispy chips, queso is made in house and is among the best. Great value for the money.
