We drove 1 1/2 hours to visit this chic family owned boutique and cafe. Well worth the drive!! Cutest boutique and the best food!! AND, they have a bakery and soda fountain!! We met the family and they are the sweetest you’ll ever meet!! Please go!! You will leave with a smile on your face 😊
Terrific place for a salad or sandwich for lunch! Situated in the back of the store, with an old-fashioned soda counter, the kids will love. And the adults too. The menu offers something for everyone. It's lighter fare, so no steaks, but really delicious. I've seen couples, families, and groups. It's one of my favorite places to go to meet up with friends.
10/10 the most wonderful mom and pop shop and restaurant you can treat your family to. If they ever rent out a room in that place, I’m moving in. You walk in, immediately hit square in the jaw with the most relaxing atmosphere that you can feel stress leave your body. The whole family is there with smiles on and a good story to tell. And when your family bows their heads to pray for the meal, you better believe the owners will be right there praying with you. The food is the best. Period. I’m a grown man, I know what I like and don’t like, but the Lovejoy family comes out of nowhere with a dish that I “know” I don’t like and show me how wrong I am when I ask for seconds. If that weren’t enough, the have a dessert and ice cream BAR! This is not a place for diets though you could if you have the Will power, but it is a place for love and joy to everyone who steps inside.
What an amazing place! The store is great, and the cafe/original soda fountain/ice cream made the visit even more special. The Lovejoy’s are so precious… next time we’re in town, we’ll be back.
I had a sandwich and chips, which was so very good, and looking at what others ordered, I know I will be back to try more. The store in the front is definitely a place where I will go shopping. Also the service was wonderful and everyone was very friendly. I 100% recommend Lovejoys on Main.
