So, while this certainly isn't a 5 star hotel, it is a 5 star 2 star hotel. You know what you're getting for $85 a night on the weekend. This is about the lowest hotel I would be able to stay in somewhat comfortably. So, I think it deserves a high rating because others may be looking for the same thing at this price point. The fridge didn't stay cold enough to keep the freezer box frozen, so it was dripping condensation all night. The lobby very mildly smelled of weed, but not skunky weed, some decent stuff. The room was fine though. The tub faucet launched off when my wife turned the shower on (actually quite hilarious). There were some stains on towels, poorly patched holes in the walls, loud highway rumblings at night, torn curtains, and unless I grew 10 inches during the drive up here, the king sized bed left my feet hanging off the end. All of that being said, if you're looking for a cheap place to crash after a night at a Choctaw concert or similar outing, this place actually holds up pretty well. Nothing majorly concerning and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, just some minor low-budget hotel things that my wife and I were able to laugh our way through.
There was zero volume on the TV. The bathtub drain was clogged, leaving you ankle deep or deeper while you showered. BUT: I loved the layout of the room and the size of the hotel itself, as it only had two floors and no elevator, which wouldn't be good if anyone with a disability wanted to stay. I felt safe for the most part, and slept well. The bed was quite comfortable, and the sheets and comforter were nice. And best of all- I SAW NO BEDBUGS because I looked everywhere.
This "hotel" needs a brand new housekeeping staff!! I had asked the front desk for a cleaning for the next day. Fresh sheets, vacuum and towels, etc. Came back after working and it wasn't done, went to find out why and it was reported done or do not disturb on door. Which was untrue. Was told they personally would make sure it get done. Next day same thing happened. I had stayed there two weeks for my job. Will not ever again!!!! This hotel needs updated with new staff and interior too.
Do not... I repeat DO NOT stay here!!! Robert Irvine would be appalled at the condition this hotel is in. Staying here gave me the heebee geebees!!! First, it started out with being given a room that smelled like piss... it SMACKED you in the face the second you opened the door. The mold in the bathroom, the fact that the towel rack is IN the tub, the stained floors, the worn/torn furniture, holes in the walls, bugs all around (both in rooms and in hallway), and the low water pressure was why I gave this review. The worst, the elevator is broken!!! BROKEN!!! People with health problems having to go to the second floor because the ground floor is booked would have a hell of a time. Came for a concert and glad we're only here for one night. If we ever come back, I'll NEVER choose this location. And having employees that know NOTHING about the system or knowing that a room is NOT up to standards for anyone!!! Absolutely disgusting.
There are several crickets and other bugs on the carpet. The TV doesn't work. It smells disgusting and the toilet paper had what appeared to be boogers. This hotel needs a new staff or perhaps even closed! Other people have had similar complaints. Try not to stay here! It's disgusting, unhygienic. The pool was also closed. Promises that weren't kept. I'm scared to find out whatever else is wrong.
