The servers seemed a little short and impersonal, but the sushi was amazing. We were originally going to get hibachi, but decided to move tables and just order sushi due to the server seeming inconvenienced as soon as we entered the restaurant. Overall, I'd go back just for the quality of the food.
We spent the day at Lake Murray and were hungry and tired, so we were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon Sakura. To our surprise, we found great hibachi at a reasonable in a small town. The food was perfectly seasoned, and my nephew loved the soup. I loved the shrimp tempura!
Oh my, fresh food cooked in front of you with a tad bit of comedy! Great date night place.
The food was good and our chef was entertaining. However, the space was very cramped on the hibachi side of the restoration. So seating was crowded with very little comfort space. And fountain drink mix was off way to much soda water. When compared to all other hibachi restaurants I have been too it was just meh.... but consider where it's located. At least we did not get food poisoning..... and all in our party seemed to like the food.
Best experience by far. We are used to eating at amazing places in Austin, TX and Sakura definitely rates up there with what we’ve come to expect. Service was great and our food was absolutely amazing. So happy they’re here!
