Breakfast was absolutely amazing, eggs were cooked perfect bacon wasn’t to greasy and had a nice crisp. My wife really enjoyed her soft taco platter. Was initially hesitant as the online reviews but I’m glad I ignored them. Oh and the drive through lady was a sweetheart. Definitely will be back.
This place has been going downhill for awhile now, but they most definitely need a staff overhaul. The wait times are unreal, even if you order ahead online. The food is often made improperly and orders are almost always wrong. Today I placed an order online and they did not have part of it. No problem, but I did not wish to substitute anything for the missing plate. She intentionally did not give me a receipt so I asked for one. Of course they did not remove what they didn’t have from my total and just expected me to pay for their issue. So the lady gets the manager and he says he can’t do refunds so I would have to drive all the way back later to speak to another manager to get refunded. What? And he acted like it wasn’t an issue and I should just pay for what I didn’t get. I’ve gone here several days a week since they opened and I now definitely won’t be going back. At least not until they hire some competent staff.
It’s a shame, it’s only been about 20 years since I have eaten at a Taco Cabana. But what I remembered it to be and what this was we got. Are two completely different things. The quality and portion sizes the items are bad. The chicken street tacos have the looks and smell of wet cat food. I’m sure it tastes like wet cat food too. But I have never had wet cat food, so I can’t speak about that. The overall appearance of the restaurant is dingy,’
The girls working the counter were cute as a bug and twice as nice. The outdoor patio was pleasant and clean
Absolutely nasty. The restaurant looked as though nothing had been wiped down or cleaned for hours. Food thrown everywhere. Eggs were put on our tacos by the line cooks hand, no spoon. He did have one glove on… Literally argued with me about what I ordered not one but two of them. Hell, what they charged me for wasn’t even what I ordered. This restaurant needs to be closed down until they can get some new management… I worked in the food industry for years and have family that owns several restaurants. Health department need to come out and do an inspection ASAP. This place is unacceptable.
