A group of ten of us came to eat at The Loft after my sister's graduation. It was pretty busy but nevertheless, the service was fantastic. The servers checked the food for me to make sure it was gluten free and they quickly and efficiently made sure we had everything we wanted at the table. I saw her running from table to table to make sure everyone was happy. I ordered the fully loaded fries and a grilled chicken salad. I was surprised by how high quality the salad ingredients were: super fresh veggies and juicy, well-marinated chicken. You just don't come to expect salad to be so good at a pub. And the fully loaded fries were covered in melted cheese, real bacon, and fresh jalapenos. Great spot in a small town that I definitely look forward to coming to again.
The food was good today, but the service was lacking and there were flies everywhere - or at least hovering around our table and they wouldn't leave us alone. I don't think our server smiled a single time and he wasn't friendly at all. Usually the service is pretty good, albeit slow. Update 9/23: the service was friendly this time but REALLY slow. We were the only diners and no one came in to pick up food and it still took 45 minutes to get our one pizza. The pizza we ordered wasn't very good and the flies were so annoying we could barely eat in between batting away the flies. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE FLIES!!
The Loft is a very casual place. I understand it's more a bar in the evenings, but our visits have only been in the daytime. People I'm with love the pizza, but I get their chicken strips and onion rings. They come hot and tasty. We always leave full and satisfied. T-Mobile signal inside is poor to nonexistent, but the free WiFi works fine.
This place was very busy on our visit and as a bar I would say it was a fun environment. Lots of locals were there. The order was slow. And was not correct as the wrong size pizzas were brought out. We were promised more pizza but it took forever to finally get them out to us. Someone ordered a salad with no oniona but the didn't take them off. They did take the price of our drinks off to make up for the delay.
My first visit and my last. Ordered the large loft pizza and a small cheese pizza. They were just like cardboard with cheese. The loft pizza didn't have any of the extra ingredients except maybe a tomato. So disappointing and expensive. A $3 frozen pizza would have been better.
